Privacy Policy

Nothing is collected

Everything Scribbloons does happens on your phone. We do not run a server for the app, so there is nowhere for your data to go. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and we do not ask you to make an account. We do not collect your name, email address, location, photos, voice or device identifiers.

Camera

Scribbloons uses the camera to see your drawing and to show your creature in AR. Whatever the camera sees is handled on your phone, in the moment, and is not sent to us or to anyone else. The drawing you scan is saved inside the app on your phone so your creature can stay on its shelf.

Photos

If you pick a picture from your photo library to scan, it is used on your phone only. When you tap Save on a video or photo, Scribbloons adds it to your Photos library. The app asks for add-only permission, which lets it save things but not look through your library.

Microphone

The microphone is used only when you record a video with sound. Your voice is recorded into the video, and the video stays on your phone until you save or share it. Scribbloons does not use the microphone at any other time.

Saving and sharing

A saved video lives in your Photos library, which Apple manages. If you share a video, it goes to the app or person you pick, using the standard iPhone share sheet. We never see it.

What stays on your phone

Your creatures, their names and your settings, such as the sound switch, are stored only on your phone, inside the app. Removing a creature deletes it. Deleting the app deletes everything.

Purchases

Scribbloons Pro is a subscription handled by Apple. We do not receive your payment details or your Apple Account. Apple tells the app whether Pro is active so it can unlock Pro. You can manage or cancel your subscription in the Settings app under your Apple Account, Subscriptions.

Children's privacy

Scribbloons is made for families, and kids should use it with a grown-up nearby. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or from children of any age. In plain terms for COPPA and similar laws: we gather nothing, so there is nothing to ask a parent to approve, review or delete.

• No accounts, no sign-up and no ads, so no advertising profile of a child can be built.
• No tracking and no analytics inside the app.
• No chat, no public profiles and no way for a child to post to other people from inside the app.
• Purchases go through Apple, which supports parental controls such as Ask to Buy and Screen Time limits.

If you email us, we receive your email address and what you write. We use it only to reply. Please do not send us a child's personal information. If you think we received some by mistake, email us and we will delete it.

Apple's services

Scribbloons relies on Apple technologies such as the camera, ARKit, Photos and the App Store. Apple handles those under its own privacy policy.
